When it comes to ourselves not even the sky is the limit.

'That on which the body falls is used by the body to lift itself'  - this is the first principal of Tantra. Used throughout yoga, according to this principle, the body, that through which we as conscious individuals 'apparently fall' is used to lift ourselves back up to balance, the breath to free and expand energy, and finally the mind is used to free us from the limitations of the mind.

Ishta-MALA

Ishta-MALA is rooted in Asta Kriya Yoga of Agustya and the Tamil Siddhas the greatest yogis on earth. Simply by adjusting the number of breaths per module MALA either expands or contracts according to your own individual needs, abilities, and time constraints leaving you calm, still and relaxed, or fired up, and ready to go. You choose.

Siddhanta

Success in yoga comes through Kaya Kalpam, purification of the body. Once the body is free of Am (toxins) it's ability to secrete ojas which is responsible for our immune system is enhanced bringing it back to its natural state of balance (Hatha). This teaching called Rasa Vidya results in a clear perceptive mind (called - adhikari) - a mind ready to grasp and assimilate Truth.

In such a mind Self-Knowledge, which enlightens us to the absolute understanding of ourselves can take place. Simply by removing our own ignorance of ourselves through knowledge - we rid ourselves of all pain, suffering and misery for good.

Combining Yoga and Atma Gnanam.

Atma Gnamam or Atma Vidya Self-Knowledge is the yoga of tomorrow. A modern yogis next step. All of us doing yoga today are adept at experiencing peace and wellness on the mat through our practice. But what if someone told you that you are that peace, that stillness with or without the mat  - with or without anything no matter what crisis overwhelms you in your life? Would you be curious?

Of course you would. When do you want peace of mind, stuck in the traffic jam of your thoughts, or sitting peacefully under a tree? Obviously in the middle of a crisis when all your thoughts back up on you is when you want peace of mind. What good is trying to be peaceful under a tree when a simple thing like a thought can bug and get the better of you? Self-Knowledge by revealing the inner workings of the mind gives a clear uncluttered understanding of yourself as you truly are. Atma Vidya and Brahma Vidya with Yoga combined make MAHA YOGA - The GREAT YOGA. One who knows this is a MAHA YOGI. A great Yogi.

for a brief introduction to Self Knowledge.

The term “ISHTAmala” derives from Ishvarapranidana which is the heart and core of Patanjali Yoga Sutras. ISHTAmala is a garland of practices used to balance the doshas and help build ojas thereby helping the practitioner establish their personal relationship with the Divine. Used to prepare and clear the mind, making one adhikari - ready to glimpse the truth (darshan) - the practices are a daily offering of Tapas on the alter of consciousness at the feet of the Divine - ones Ishtadevata.
